Scott Shibuya Brown is the author of the novels, Story by Erasmus Yang (JackLeg Press; 2023); The Traders (Black Lawrence Press; 2017), which was a finalist for the William Saroyan International Award for Fiction; and Far Afield (Red Hen; 2010). He is a former staff journalist for Time Magazine and The Los Angeles Times, and professor emeritus at California State University, Northridge.
