Genanne Walsh’s debut novel, Twister, was awarded the Big Moose Prize for the Novel and published by Black Lawrence Press. Twister was a finalist for the Brighthorse Prize, the Housatonic Book Award in Fiction, and the Sarton Women’s Book Award. Eggs in Purgatory, her creative nonfiction chapbook, was selected as a finalist in the WTAW Alcove Series Open and published by WTAW Press. Her writing has appeared in Puerto del Sol, Blackbird, the Catamaran Literary Reader and elsewhere, and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize multiple times. She reviews books for the Portland Press Herald and holds an MFA from Warren Wilson College.
