Like you’re not already convinced:
PATRICK MICHAEL FINN is the author of the novella A Martyr for Suzy Kosasovich and the short story collection From the Darkness Right Under Our Feet, one of GQ Magazine’s Best Books of 2011.
Before joining the English faculty at Boston College last fall, ALLISON ADAIR taught poetry workshops and literature seminars at the University of Iowa, Grub Street, and Boston University. Her poems and translations have appeared in The Boston Globe, in the anthology Hacks, and as part of the braille-photography installation Twice Seen; and she is a monthly contributor to Grub Street’s “Friday Five-O” literary column. Adair holds an MFA in Poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where she received the program’s highest honor, the Teaching-Writing Fellowship.
JESSICA ROAKE lives, parents and hustles in Washington DC with her family. When not meddling in pre-school politics, she contributes to Slate, The Awl, Salon, The Washington Post Express, Babble and The Hairpin. She received her MFA in Nonfiction from Columbia University, and dreams of hilariously re-capping TV and/or finishing her book.
ADRIAN VAN YOUNG has recently taught writing and literature at Boston College, Boston University and Grub Street Writers Inc. He received his B.A. in English at Vassar College, and his MFA in fiction at Columbia University, where he formerly taught as well. In 2008, he was the recipient of a Henfield Foundation Prize and in 2011 he won the St. Lawrence Book Award for his collection of short stories The Man Who Noticed Everything, out now from Black Lawrence Press. His fiction and non-fiction have been published or are forthcoming in Lumina, Gigantic, Lacuna and The Believer. He lives in Somerville, MA with his wife Darcy. See more at adrianvanyoung.com.
