About the Authors:
Matthew Gavin Frank is the author of Barolo (forthcoming from The University of Nebraska Press), Sagittarius Agitprop (Black Lawrence Press), and the chapbooks Four Hours to Mpumalanga (Pudding House Publications), and Aardvark (West Town Press). Recent work appears in The New Republic, Field, Epoch, Crazyhorse, Indiana Review, North American Review, Pleiades, Prairie Schooner, The Best Food Writing 2006, The Best Travel Writing 2008, Creative Nonfiction, Gastronomica, and others. He was born and raised in Illinois, and teaches English and Creative Writing at Grand Valley State University.
Michael Czyzniejewski grew up in Chicago and its south suburbs. He received a BA from the University of Illinois and an MFA from Bowling Green State University, where he currently teaches and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Mid-American Review. His stories have appeared in nearly fifty publications, including StoryQuarterly, The Southern Review, and American Short Fiction, and have also been widely anthologized. His debut collection of stories Elephants in Our Bedroom was released by Dzanc Books in early 2009. During the summer, he splits his time between Ohio and Chicago, where he works at Wrigley Field as a beer vendor.
